Community Partners Supporting Temporary Foreign Workers

Community partnerships continue to play an important role in supporting Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) and fostering a sense of belonging within our communities.

On August 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., our partner, Neepawa and Area Immigration and Settlement Services in Manitoba will be hosting a Community BBQ for TFWs. The event is designed to help reduce isolation, encourage community integration, and provide a welcoming opportunity for workers to connect with one another and learn about local resources and services.

As preparations continue, local businesses have stepped forward with generous support. Fast Gas has donated bottled water, and HyLife has provided a donation of pork to help make the event possible. Their contributions reflect a shared commitment to supporting the well-being and inclusion of Temporary Foreign Workers.

We are grateful to our community partners for their generosity and look forward to bringing workers together for a meaningful and enjoyable event in August.
